I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix2 Q' [' c. f% ~2 C. h# J

just that this corner does not seem to attract many visitors.
